Eduardo "Gato” Romero
Eduardo Alejandro "Gato” Romero was born on July 17th 1954 in Córdoba. He became professional in 1982 and up to now he has eight victories at the European Tour, two at the Senior European Tour and one at the Champions Tour where he is currently participating with great success. Furthermore, last year he won the Novice Prize of the year in the demanding veteran circuit in the United States. He started his career as a professional golfer in 1982 and up to the moment he has enjoyed more than 100 victories worldwide. He played 38 Majors and won 8 times at the European Tour. In July 2004, when he turned 50, he started to participate at the Senior Tour.

Andrés Romero
He is from Tucumán province. He was born in Yerba Buena, just a few steps from Jockey Club of Tucumán on May 8th 1985. He is one of the most important promises of worldwide golf. His outstanding performance at the British Open, where he ended 3º, although he was the leader of the tournament with only two holes to play, the triumph of the following week at the TPC of Europe consolidated him as one of the personalities of this sport. Together with that, he finished 6º at the Bridgestone Invitational, played in Akron, Ohio, championship that is part of the World Golf Championships, which gathered the main stars of the worldwide golf, sharing a tee with Tiger Woods. But in 2006, he had already showed the first hints in three unforgettable weeks in Europe, where he was Top Ten in three tournaments (Scottish Open, British Open, and TPC in Europe). At the local level, in 2007 he won in his city, the Northern Open for the third time, sharing the title with Ricardo Gonzalez. While in 2006, he won the Northern Open, with a field record, the Argentine Masters, and the Littoral Open. In 2005, he obtained his first victory in Europe, when he won the Morson International, held in Manchester, England, belonging to the Challenge Tour. Cesar Monasterio
Born in Tucuman, he is 43 years old, in 2006 he obtained his first European Tour title, when he won the Aa St Omer, in France, which gave him the passport to play the maximum tour of the season. Up to now, he obtained his best performance in Hong Kong where he ended 19º. Besides, he obtained the Challenge Tour Telefónica Móviles Open title in Guatemala in 2005. Since 2003, he is regularly competing in Europe. Ariel Cañete
He was born on February 7th 1975 in Santa Teresita, Buenos Aires province. He is a professional since 1995, but he has an outstanding performance as an amateur as he won three times Los Andes Cup (South American in teams). This year, he obtained his greatest success as a professional when he won the Joburg Open, in South Africa, European Tour tournament, which enables him to play two full seasons at the most important tour in the Old Continent. Daniel Vancsik
He was born on January 7th 1977 in the province of Misiones and a couple of weeks ago he obtained the most important victory of his career. He won the Madeira Open of Portugal, European Tour tournament, winning the possibility of participating in the European Tour events for two years. Currently, he occupies the 53rd position in the Order of Merit. Horacio Carbonetti
"Negro" (Black) was born on November 17th 1947 in Río Cuarto, Córdoba. In 1978, he decided to turn professional after an outstanding trajectory as an amateur player as he was the Amateur Champion three times. He broke the record in worldwide golf when he made a 64-shot round at the British Open in 1980 at Muirfield, the lowest at that moment at the Open. Luis Carbonetti
"Piri" was born on April 23rd 1953 in Río Cuarto, Córdoba. He is professional since 1985 and he has 3 victories at the Senior European Tour. In 2005, he ended forth in the Order of Merit and he won the Tobago Plantations Seniors Classic. Rafael Gómez
Coming from Ranelagh Golf Club, Rafael Gómez, 39 years old, is one the most outstanding players of the last years. He obtained two victories at the European Tour in 2005, which allowed him to play during last year at the most important tour of the Old Continent. His victory in the Mexico Open enabled him to play the full season where he won again in the Tessali-Metaponto Open de Puglia e Basilicata, in Italy. With great pride, he won twice the Order of Merit of the Tour de las Americas. In 2001 and 2002 he obtained two victories (Bahamas and Costa Rica), while in 2004 he had the greatest privilege after his victory in Mexico. With other seven victories during his career, Rafael obtained the last titles a couple of months ago at the San Luis Open and Southern Open in 2007, a TPG Argentina (Professional Golf Tour) tournament. Miguel Rodríguez
Last week, he obtained the most important victory of his career, 2007 Costa Rica Open, a Challenge European Tour tournament. Born in Buenos Aires, 34 years old, Rodríguez won two other tournaments during his short career. In 2005, he obtained his first victory at the international level, the Venezuela Open and he also won the Salta Open and the Gran Premio de Pinamar in Argentina. Juan Pablo Abatte
He was an outstanding amateur since he won the South American Championship Los Andes Cup in 1997. During his professional career, he obtained the Southern Open in 2001 (Mar del Plata), the 2002 Lomas Open, and the 2006 Golden Cup, held in Mar del Plata and the Gran Premio of Pinamar. At the same time, since 2003 he is participating at the European Tour where his 2º position in the 2004 Morocco Open was his best result. This year started well for him as he obtained 2nd position in the Costa Rica Open. Eduardo Argiro
He was born on May 20th 1973 and he is a professional since 1992. He was the Tucuman’s golfer that broke the streak without local victories in the Northern Open in 2002. He is playing regularly in the Tour de las Americas. He finished runner up in both play-offs, in 2005 in Puerto Rico and in 2003 in Brazil. Emilio Domínguez
He is one of the young promises of the Argentinean golf. Born in San Luis, he stood out as an amateur representing Argentina in numerous events around the world and he established himself as the best amateur in 2004. One year later, he achieved what a few Argentineans could obtain, he classified for the US Amateur final round, the most important amateur tournament in United States. In 2006, during his first season as a professional, the 20-year-old young man obtained six Top Tens in Argentinean Tour tournaments. Besides, already in his first year as a professional, he participated in several tournaments of the Tour de las Americas, getting good results, although without questions, the most outstanding achievement for Emilio was 2nd position in the 2007 Guatemala Open, corresponding to the European Challenge Tour, just one shot off the lead. Miguel Guzmán
Born 46 years ago in Santiago del Estero, he is one of the most experienced golfers of our country. He had an excellent performance during 2005, when he obtained the Brazil Open. Professional since 1985, he obtained one of his sixteenth victories at the local and Latin American level in 1998 in the Southern Open, in Mar del Plata, tournament he won three times, as well as the Northern Open (Tucumán).
Rodolfo Gonzalez
Coming from the Ranelagh Golf Club school, golf club of the Master Roberto De Vicenzo, the "morsa" (walrus) is one of the most talented golfers in Argentina. He is 40 years old and he is professional since 1998. His most important victory was the Argentine Open in 2003, held in Olivos Golf Club. He had other victories at the local level such as the Southern Open and the Norpatagonico Open. Miguel Fernandez
He was born on April 10th 1962 in Chaco and he rapidly stood out with two consecutive victories in the Argentine Open in 1987 and 1988. He played a couple of seasons in Europe with no success. His last triumph at the local level was the Chaco Open in 2006. » Clic here to play with him
