Ascochinga Golf club is one of the most picturesque courses in the country thanks to the local flora and fauna with 150-year-old locust trees species, birds, lagoons and streams. From the 18 holes, the first 9 are English-style designs. The remaining 9 were built 7 years ago, so they became a "partial modern" area integrated to the traditional layout. Ascochinga is a traditional area, full of noble anecdotes and traditions which make it an interesting place for cultural tourism. The grass type in the quite narrow fairways is "Bermuda" and "Agrosti" in the greens. The main characteristic of the fairways is the degree of difficulty they present due to the slopes and the position of the obstacles. |
