Description: |
Lagartos is one of the most prestigious golf courses in Buenos Aires. It was built by Alberto and Emilio Serra near Burgueño and Pinazo streams and it was opened in 1973. From the beginning, its 18 American-style holes had wide fairways and huge tees. The fairway length makes rough unnecessary which is only grown for important tournaments. It is a great pleasure to play in the bent-cross greens which give speed to the ball and precision to the shot. The well-designed dog legs and the strategic location of the water hazards which complicate the game, make this course a challenging one. The 27-hole course is divided into 3: La Vieja, Del Agua, La Larga. |
